The Carbon Planet 'REDDiness Index' determines in a clear, simple-to-understand way, the top 30 countries that are best for developing REDD projects.
Carbon Planet has taken into account:
- the rate of deforestation in each country
- the OECD 'Country Risk Classification' for each country, and
- whether the country is part of the World Bank's Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF)
