Carbon Survey Research Report (PDF)

The Carbon Survey Research Report was conducted to gain a better understanding of Australian businesses readiness for the Carbon Economy. The goals of the survey were:

  • To understand the priority placed by organisations in Australia on reducing carbon emissions;
  • To measure the extent to which organisations have begun to take action on carbon emissions;
  • To measure the extent to which organisations are financially equipping themselves to deal with issues of climate change and the associated reporting;
  • To determine the expected impact of the legislation in terms of an organisation's bottom line; and
  • To measure key personnel's understanding of the carbon emissions reporting requirements and the carbon offsets trading scheme.
