Operation: Coolenation™ is designed to empower Australia's young people to be the change in global warming.

At Carbon Planet, our mission is to provide people with the knowledge and skills they need to make our planet sustainable. We have decided to do this with a combination of inspiration, education and facilitation to encourage as many people as we can muster to work as a team to address the well-publicised issue of global warming.

Operation: Coolenation empowers young people to become change-makers for sustainability.

To do this, we have provided a fun and diverse resource that helps communicate the science of climate change, the issues, and the solutions. The Education Resource provides educators and students with the tools needed to become the change-makers the world needs to ensure a sustainable future - at school, at home, and in our daily lives.

Developed in consultation with the South Australian Department of Education, the Education Resource includes:

The contents of the Teacher's recource pack
  • The science behind climate change, the issues and the solutions in one easy-to-read resource
  • Easy to implement educational activities divided into lesson plan ideas including:
    • Interactive classroom activities
    • An original contemporary comic strip, featuring the characters Cyberwind and Aerogreen
    • Major Project - Planet Pledges Challenge
    • Four colour A2 posters containing useful diagrams:
      • The Atmosphere
      • Global Warming
      • The Water Cycle
      • Elements of the Earth
  • Three sheets of motivational stickers
  • Four sheets of tip cards for the classroom
  • An original comic book entitled "Planet Saving Superheroes: Defending against Climate Change"
  • DVD containing soft copies of the educational booklet plus a transport emissions calculator

The Resource is being made available at cost price: GST and postage within Australia.

A free trial DVD is available to all Australian Primary Schools (while stocks last).

Operation: Coolenation™ School Visits

Purchasing Operation: Coolenation™ Education Resource Packs allows your school to have the opportunity to have a Planet Saving Super Hero from Carbon Planet visit and talk about climate change with your students.
