The Australian National Carbon Offset Standard (NCOS) is due to come into effect in July 2010. The NCOS aims to guide consumers and businesses regarding the use of voluntary carbon offsetting and provides a clear standard for becoming carbon neutral. The standard covers all products and services, including conferences and events.
