How it works

Carbon Planet's experience with both domestic and international events has provided us with a comprehensive understanding of emissions associated with events of all types and sizes.

To calculate the carbon footprint of your event, Carbon Planet will use the number of delegates, the duration of the event and the travel and accommodation associated with the event.

Once the carbon footprint has been calculated, event organisers can then generate ‘green tickets’ by embedding a small carbon fee into the price of the event tickets.

Carbon Planet will then create a web page that allows your delegates to offset their own travel and accommodation, and provide materials that help you to communicate your commitment to sustainability.

Finally, Carbon Planet will offer a 10% rebate on the carbon credits purchased to help offset the costs associated with greening your event.
