Jim Johnson

Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Jim Johnson is one of Australia's most successful entrepreneurs in the information technology industry and a prominent Adelaide businessman.

Prior to joining Carbon Planet, Jim lived and worked in the US for several years where he was Director of the World Trade Centre Association.

Jim has extensive experience developing companies in Australia, the US and UK markets. He was also Founding President of the Australian American Chamber of Commerce.

Jim is also Chairman of Mirador Investments, Grazer Pty Limited and Feel Good Films, and is currently utilising his vast business skills in driving the expansion of Carbon Planet.

Gavan Fox

Director, Audit & Advisory Services

Gavan Fox manages the Audit and Advisory division of Carbon Planet, guiding companies through the process of measuring, saving and managing their carbon emissions.

Prior to joining Carbon Planet, Gavan spent 15 years launching and expanding US companies into markets across the Asia Pacific region. Gavan has also held a number of senior management roles in high profile organisations including Managing Director, Genzyme Australasia, and Vice President, Tyco Healthcare, Asia Pacific.

Gavan's analytical and strategy development skills combined with individual and team development expertise are fundamental in creating new business opportunities and driving organic business growth for Carbon Planet.

George Krichauff

Director, Carbon Commerce

George Krichauff has extensive experience in trading, origination and marketing in emerging energy and environmental markets in the UK, Continental Europe and Australia.

Commencing his career in the UK, he worked as a trader and marketer for over six years before working in the power and renewables sector.

Subsequently working in environmental markets, he was involved in the set up of an emissions trading and origination desk, developing and running a portfolio of carbon traded products and origination of CDM and JI products.

Remco Marcelis

Chief Financial Officer

Remco Marcelis has extensive business experience that ranges from running his own start-up company to managing the meteoric growth of a successful media company and running the operations of multinational organisations. Remco also has an MBA qualification from the Institute of Company Directors.

His senior management and financial capabilities, combined with his analytical skills and experience of operating at board level in a range of companies, are fundamental to his role at Carbon Planet.

Jesse Reynolds

Chief Technology Officer

Jesse began his professional career by co-founding Virtual Artists in 1993, a consultancy and web hosting company which produced many innovative websites and development technologies.

Jesse has been a contract UNIX Systems Administrator specialising in enterprise systems and web application infrastructure since 2000 and has worked with Fujitsu, Sun Microsystems, University of New South Wales, Sydney University and of course Carbon Planet.

Jesse studied Computer Science at the University of Adelaide and now lives in Sydney with his young family.

Vivienne Holloway

Manager of My Carbon Planet

Vivienne was the founding employee of Carbon Planet, joining in March 2005.

Since then she has helped to grow the Carbon Planet retail brand from its genesis to what it is today.

As Manager of MyCarbonPlanet it is her role to devise and implement innovative strategies to inspire, educate and facilitate individuals and the community to become changemakers for sustainability.

She studied a commerce degree at the University of Adelaide, majoring in international marketing and management. She has also studied biochemistry, and continues to study for a Masters in Management (Arts). She makes her home with her husband and son on a cherry orchard in the Adelaide Hills.

Haris Chaudhry

Director, Asia & Africa - Carbon Commerce Division

Haris is spearheading Carbon Planet's expansion in Carbon origination projects in South Asia, Middle East and North African region, considered to be the fastest growing carbon origination region.

Haris has worked in multiple business & strategic development roles in Australia and also worked as Channels and Distribution Manager for Asia Pacific region for Rocksoft Limited, where he was involved in devising a channel strategy and distribution plan for multiple software solutions throughout the Asia Pacific region.

In his previous role, Haris worked as Business Development and Major Accounts Manager for Upstream Print Solutions, Australia's largest independent office automation and print solutions organisation. Haris brings with him over 10 years experience in corporate business and channels development, strategic planning and international expansion.

Haris has a BSc Hons degree in Land and Water Resources Management with his Post Graduate studies in Marketing from Monash University in Melbourne.

Vicki Prout

Director, Franchising Services

Vicki Prout is an emerging icon in global franchising. Vicki has extensive experiences in international franchise growth, franchise marketing, legal issues, documentation, strategic development and reconciling the interests and expectations of masters and franchisees in widely differing cultures.

Her driving force, pursuit of systems and professionalism was a major contributor for growing Cartridge World globally through the intelligent recruitment and effective support of a Master Franchisee network. She has also been instrumental in the growth of other Australian brands in the international arena.

Vicki is back-to-back Franchise Woman of the Year in South Australia, and Chair of Australia's national Women in Franchising Committee.
