Carbon Trading and Origination

As well as managing the provision of carbon credits, Carbon Planet also has a dedicated Origination and Consultancy Service. This means our scientific and project management teams actively seek and verify suitable carbon credits from a range of projects including renewable energy and forestry sources. They also partner with businesses and land owners to identify opportunities for them to become involved in the origination of carbon credits to generate sustainable revenue streams for worthy projects.

With the Federal Government's Emissions Trading Scheme scheduled for launch in 2013, Carbon Planet can also facilitate the buying and selling of carbon credits for business customers across the world. This scheme will see a value placed on carbon - and just like any other asset, it will be a tradable commodity.
