David Gallo: Underwater astonishments
David Gallo, one of the first oceanographers to use a combination of manned submersibles and robots to map the ocean world with unprecedented clarity and detail, gives an astounding talk at TED called Underwater astonishments. It’s important, with all of this talk of the economics of climate change, to remind ourselves of the total awesomeness of Nature.
