Get climate change into the AFL Grand Finale
Australian activists GetUp are running a campaign to get their latest climate change commercial, shown above, aired during the forthcoming Australian Football League Grand Final being played this coming Saturday.
Carbon Planet has been working with Origin Energy as part of their “Go Green for Footy” programme to audit and offset the greenhouse gas emissions for most of the AFL clubs. So it’s even more worthy that people watching this years grand final get a chance to see GetUp’s ad. Most of the AFL clubs are taking climate change seriously, but the Australian government’s response to this global crisis has been nothing short of disgraceful.
