Al Gore and me
Al Gore, former next president of the USA, was in town last week and I was lucky enough to get a small slice of his time. Carbon Planet was chosen, in partnership with Origin Energy, to neutralise Mr Gore’s Australian tour. Carbon Planet is working on the emissions audit right now and, when the final numbers are in, Origin will provide the carbon credits to offset the trip. Carbon Planet was also chosen by the Commerce Carbon Exchange to provide carbon credits for the launch of the FEX-SIM Climate Exchange, the world’s first stock market dedicated to sustainability and clean-tech stocks.
