Speech at the Brassey Hotel in Canberra

I was invited to give a speech about climate change and business at the Brassey Hotel in Canberra. This was also organised by Glen Frost of Frocomm and once again I am grateful for the chance to communicate our message. True to form, and to my mission, I rode my bike in the sub-zero Canberra temperatures down to the Brassey. Fortunately Glen had arranged some very nice red wine for the occasion. The Q&A session was quite lively, with audience members wanting to know all manner of details about how carbon credits are guaranteed to perform and why we should even bother, given that China contributes more to climate change than Australia does. I fielded these and other questions quite well, but won’t go into the answers here.

I’ll be giving a couple of talks on July 25 and 26 in Sydney at the Climate Change Summit. I hope to see you there. — DS
