The Greencode Project goes to Korea

Carbon Planet was one of the founding supporters of the Greencode Project, which aims to address the fact that the screen industries are responsible for a terrible amount of environmental damage. Carbon Planet has devised carbon emissions auditing and reduction services specifically tailored to the film and television industry and has been an enthusiastic supporter of a number of high-profile film festivals including the Sheffield Doc/Fest in the UK and the Adelaide Film Festival in Australia.

Tomorrow I am off to the Republic of Korea to speak at the Green Film Festival in Seoul. I’ll be talking about the Greencode and in some detail about how we perform our emissions audits. I’ll be citing examples from Crude, being screened on the ABC TV in Australia at 8.30pm on the 24th of May. If you happen to be in Seoul, please do try to attend this amazing conference. — DS
