Sheffield Doc/Fest to be CO2 free™ again.
The Sheffield Doc/Fest is one of the world’s major documentary festivals and last year Carbon Planet helped them measure their CO2 emissions, gave them a host of recommendations as to how to reduce their CO2 footprint, and then sourced the carbon credits they needed to reduce the whole event’s footprint to zero.
The film above gives you an insight into the buzz at the 2006 event. This year we are doing it all again. We’ll audit the event and see if the recommendations we made last year were followed and if they worked. We’ll get smarter though and work out even craftier ways for them to reduce their emissions, and of course, what they couldn’t reduce we’ll arrange the offsetting using only the best quality carbon credits.
