Loony IPCC debunkers beef up security to deter protest.
Climate change denying shills including the very sad and deluded David Bellamy will be handing out their own watered-down version of the new IPCC report on Monday 5 Feb 2007 at the Atrium Restaurant, just over the road from Parliament House in London at 10am. (countdown)
They are beefing up security and trying to prevent all but their own hand-picked media people to attend. See their press release.
Increased security at the media briefing has been prompted by information indicating that protestors will be present outside the venue and may try to disrupt the event.
I’ve been informed that the Climate Change Action Group and others will indeed be descending upon the meeting in droves to protest this meeting and I urge all UK readers of this blog to go join them. Protests, apart from being a great fun day out for the whole family, are a fundamental democratic right. Show these idiots how deluded they are and take this issue up with any and all press you find. Take copies of the actual IPCC report with you and please, stay calm and peaceful Don’t let the media paint you as a rabble.
