Carbon Footprints

Today is Carbon Planet’s 7th birthday. We started the company on 12 January 2000 with fairly modest aims and an even more modest clue about what it actually meant to offset carbon emissions. We spent 5 years working that out, negotiating with suppliers of carbon credits and talking to lots of people about their approaches to carbon emissions reductions. We read a lot. Now, 7 years later, we have a staff of 14, offices in Adelaide, Canberra and Sydney, and representation in the UK. We are still not exactly profitable, but we are funded and edging closer to viability every day. Hooray!

2007 will be an amazing year for us. We have started entering into a variety of partnerships that will all bear fruit this year. Expect some interesting announcements from us soon. — DS
