A to Z Guide to Political Interference in Science
Tired of running into people who claim climate change is a lefty consipiracy? Appalled by the way shills like Bob Carter get promoted in the press while genuine climate science is trod underfoot? Wel the Union of Concerned Scientists has launched their A to Z Guide to Political Interference in Science.
In recent years, however, scientists who work for and advise the federal government have seen their work manipulated, suppressed, distorted, while agencies have systematically limited public and policy maker access to critical scientific information. To document this abuse, the Union of Concerned Scientists has created the A to Z Guide to Political Interference in Science.
This is a US initiative but I really feel it needs to be expanded globally. Still its a great start and joins ExxonSecrets as a valuable tool in the war on FUD. — DS
