A Walk Against Warming

Australian activis group GetUp have blogged A Walk Against Warming.

Last Saturday, more than 100,000 people hit the streets in cities and towns nationwide in a Walk Against Warming. Mums and dads, teenagers and grandparents, celebrities and everyday folk united for climate action.

The walk was coordinated by a coalition of groups including the Nature Conservation Council of NSW, Environment Victoria, the Conservation Council of South East Region and Canberra, Conservation Council of WA, the Environment Centre NT, the Cairns and Far North Environment Centre, Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, The Wilderness Society and GlobalClimateCampaign.org.

Carbon Planet people were out in force in Adelaide too. — DS
