Climate change review still undecided

Reuters quote the Financial Times, saying Climate change review still undecided

The [UK] government has not yet agreed on how much businesses should be forced to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide to hit a self-imposed target to cut 20 percent by 2010.

The Financial Times quoted trade and industry minister Alan Johnson as saying that the basis for emissions cuts had not yet been agreed.

“We haven’t decided a figure yet,” he told the FT.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. We can not afford to wait for our governments to save us. They won’t. They are not even our governments anymore, they are wholly owned subsiduaries of the world’s great despoilers. “Be the change you want to see in the world,” as Gandhi said. - DS
